Credit card welcome offers are the fastest way to earn a ton of points with relatively little spending. I never worry about running out of cards because there are always new offers to be found. Here are the current best ones.
Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card
The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card currently has an elevated welcome offer for 75,000 miles plus a $250 Capital One Travel credit when you spend $4,000 in the first three months. Capital One Miles are valuable flexible miles that can be used in a variety of ways! I highly recommend this card.

Chase Co-Branded Hotel Cards
There are currently quite a few elevated hotel card offers from Chase. Let’s go over them.
HYATT
It’s no secret that Hyatt is my favorite hotel brand. Chase cards make it so easy to earn a ton of points that can be transferred to Hyatt to get incredible value for your hotel stays.
There are two Hyatt cards that currently have elevated offers. I’ll be honest, these offers aren’t amazing. Only slightly better than the standard offer. However, it’s better than nothing!
- The World of Hyatt Credit Card – Earn 35,000 points after you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months, plus up to 30,000 more points by earning two points per dollar in the first six months from account opening, up to $15,000 spent.
- World of Hyatt Business Credit Card – Earn 60,000 points after you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months, plus earn a Category 1-4 Free Night Award when you spend $15,000 in the first six months of account opening.

IHG
IHG is one of my favorite hotel brands thanks to its large global footprint, especially with properties that sleep 4+ per room. To top it off, IHG cardholders get the fourth night free on award stays, which is a perk we have taken advantage of many times!
Here are the currently-elevated offers on IHG cards:
- IHG One Rewards Traveler Credit Card – Earn 100,000 points after spending $2,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.
- IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card – Earn 170,000 points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. This is my favorite option!
MARRIOTT
Marriott has co-branded cards with both Chase and American Express. Marriott also has some complicated card eligibility rules. For the most part, if it’s been more than 24 months since you opened another Marriott card, you should be okay. If you already have one of these elevated offer cards, you will want to close it and wait 30 days before reapplying.
Here are the offers:
- Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card – earn 60,000 points plus 1 Free Night Award (worth up to 50k points) after you spend $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
- Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card – earn a $150 statement credit after you make your first purchase in the first 12 months from account opening, and earn 100,000 points after spending $3,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening. This is my favorite option!

United℠ Business Card
There is an elevated offer on the United Business card for 100,000 miles after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first three months. This card won’t count against 5/24 since it’s a business card. Reminder – business cards are easier to get than you might think!
100,000 United miles is enough for three roundtrip tickets to almost anywhere in the U.S. Many dates and routes are just 15k per way.
Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card
The Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card has a new offer to earn 125,000 points after you spend $8,000 in the first six months from account opening. This is one of my favorite cards because it doesn’t count toward Chase’s 5/24 rule, and it’s an Amex card, which helps to diversify your points and the banks you’re opening cards with.
We’ve seen offers on this card in the past for five free night certificates. This offer isn’t quite as good as that. However, it’s still a decent option if you’re looking for a new card. The spend is higher at $8,000, but you have six months so that still works out to just $1,333 per month.
This elevated offer ends 03/12/2025.
One Card to Earn the Southwest Companion Pass
There is currently an offer on the three Southwest personal cards that allows you to earn a temporary Companion Pass. The offer is for 30,000 points plus a Companion Pass that is good through February 28th, 2026, when you spend $4,000 in the first three months from account opening. The difference between the cards is the annual fee and the benefits that come with it.
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Priority Credit Card
- Southwest Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card* (choose “Premier” once the page opens).

Delta Air Lines Cards
Currently, there are elevated offers on all six of Delta’s co-branded American Express cards. All of these offers end on 4/2/25.
Here are the details.
Personal cards
- Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card: Earn 80,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $3,000 in eligible purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership.
- Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card: Earn 90,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $4,000 in eligible purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership.
- Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card: Earn 100,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $6,000 in eligible purchases on your new Card in your first 6 months of Card Membership.
Delta personal cards have the following “family language” rules – You may not be eligible to receive a welcome offer if you have or have had this Card, the Delta SkyMiles® Options Credit Card, the Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card, the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express Card, the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card, or previous versions of these Cards.
The nice thing about Amex cards is that you will get a pop-up notification during the application that tells you if you’re ineligible for the welcome offer. If you get this pop-up, you can back out of the application without any pulls on your credit.

Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is my go-to beginner card and a top recommendation for anyone who does not already have it. The welcome offer is for 60,000 bonus points when you spend $4,000 in your first 3 months from account opening.
These points are easy to earn and easy to use. Plus, Chase has great transfer partners (Hyatt is my favorite), and there are so many options for using your points.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card
The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is an excellent card with premium benefits like a $300 travel credit, unlimited airport lounge access, a 10,000-mile anniversary bonus, no foreign fees, and more. The welcome offer is for 75,000 miles when you spend $4,000 in the first three months. This is a pretty standard amount for a rewards card and is actually low compared to other premium cards. There is a $395 annual fee, which is fully covered by all of the great benefits. You can read more about the card here.

Citi Strata Premier℠ Card
This little-talked-about card earns flexible ThankYou® Points, which can be used with a variety of airline and hotel partners. For a limited time, earn 75,000 bonus ThankYou® Points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months of account opening.
We each opened this card a few years ago and used the points to book a Choice Hotels property in Rome because points transfer at a 1:2 ratio from Citi to Choice Hotels. Choice gets a bad rap in the States, but there are some great properties throughout Europe!
For that trip, we also took advantage of the card’s annual $100 off a $500 hotel booking benefit when booking through the Citi Travel℠ Portal and booked a short-term rental in Venice.

Chase Ink Business Cards
The Ink Business suite of cards are some of my top recommended cards. Don’t let the fact that they’re business cards scare you off. They’re easier than you think! These cards are a great way to stock up on a mountain of Chase points. Furthermore, they don’t count against your 5/24 number since they are business cards. Plus, two of them have no annual fee. They’re no-brainers!

Capital One Spark Cash Plus
The Capital One Spark Cash Plus has a huge spending requirement of $30,000 in the first three months of account opening. However, if you can meet that, you will earn the giant welcome offer of $2,000 cash back. Not only that, but if you have a card that earns Capital One Miles, you can combine the cash back onto your miles-earning card and turn it into 200,000 flexible miles instead!
The card earns an easy 2X on all purchases, so after meeting the spending requirement and earning the welcome offer, you’ll have a whopping 260,000 miles!! Bananas. It is a business card, but unlike other Capital One business cards, it does not count against Chase’s 5/24 rule.
