My thoughts

This is hands down one of the best premium cards on the market, and it has the lowest annual fee of any premium card! The $300 travel credit brings the effective cost down to $95, which is incredible for everything you get. Note that as of February 2026 the lounge access changes mean guests now pay a fee, so factor that in if lounge access for your family is a priority.

How to use your points

Capital One miles can be used in a variety of ways. Here are some of the best:

  • Transfer to Air Canada Aeroplan for Star Alliance flights (think United flights! for less)
  • Transfer to any of Capital One's 15+ hotel and airline partners — See them all here
  • Cover travel purchases on your statement at 1 cent per point — For example: cruises
  • Cover the cost of Disney tickets booked through Undercover Tourist — how I book Disney on points
