Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card
Best No-Fee Capital One Miles Card
Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card
Annual fee: $0

Earn 20,000 miles once you spend $500 on purchases within 3 months from account opening.

5xmiles on hotels, vacation rentals, and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel
1.25xmiles on every other purchase, everywhere

  • 0% intro APR on purchases for 15 months, then 18.49%–28.49% variable APR
  • 0% intro APR on balance transfers for 15 months, then 18.49%–28.49% variable APR (balance transfer fee applies)
  • Transfer miles to 15+ airline and hotel loyalty programs
  • No annual fee
  • No foreign transaction fees

This is the no-fee version of the Venture card, and the main reason to open it is the welcome offer — 20,000 miles for just $500 in spending in the first 3 months is one of the easiest welcome offers to earn out there. The ongoing earning rate of 1.25x isn't exciting compared to other cards, but it's better than just 1x, and the 0% intro APR is a nice perk if you have a big purchase coming up. I'd mainly recommend this one for people who are just getting started with Capital One Miles and want to dip their toes in without paying an annual fee. If you're already comfortable with the program, the Venture or Venture X will serve you better long-term.

Capital One miles earned on this card transfer to the same 15+ partners as the Venture and Venture X. Here are some of the best ways to use them:

A no-risk entry point into Capital One miles — best for beginners those lookng to fill time between other cards.

  • The welcome offer is one of the easiest to earn with just $500 in spending in 3 months
  • No annual fee means you can keep it open forever with no downside
  • The 0% intro APR is a nice bonus if you have a big purchase coming up
  • The 1.25x ongoing earn rate is modest, so it's best to eventually upgrade to the Venture or Venture X for better long-term value
