My thoughts
This is the business version of the IHG Premier, and it's nearly identical in perks — same $99 fee, same annual free night, same Platinum Elite status, same fourth night free. The big difference is that it doesn't count toward your 5/24 number since it's a business card. If you have a side hustle or small business and stay at IHG properties, this is a no-brainer.
How to use your points
IHG One Rewards points are best used for free hotel nights at IHG properties. Here are the best ways to use them:
- Book free nights at Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza, Kimpton, InterContinental, Hotel Indigo, and more
- Use the fourth night free perk — pay points for 3 nights and get the 4th free on consecutive award stays
- Use your annual free night certificate + top it off with points to book a higher-category property
- Use Points & Cash awards to stretch your stash further
Same great perks as the personal Premier card, but won't count toward 5/24.
- Doesn't count toward Chase's 5/24 rule — keep those personal card spots open
- Annual free night certificate typically worth more than the $99 annual fee by itself
- Best for business owners or side hustlers who already stay at IHG properties
