Current Best Offers

Credit card welcome offers are the fastest way to earn a ton of points with relatively little spending. I never worry about running out of cards because there are always new offers to be found.

Here are the current best ones.

Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (NEW OFFER!)

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is my number one go-to beginner card and my top recommendation for anyone who does not already have it. It currently earns 75,000 bonus points (up from 60,000!) when you spend $5,000 in your first 3 months from account opening.

Read more about the card and why I love it HERE.

Need some inspiration for using the points? Check out this blog post.

Chase Freedom Unlimited®

New offer on a great no-fee card! Earn a $300 bonus (given as 30,000 Ultimate Rewards® points) after spending $500 in the first 3 months.

Even though it’s advertised as cash back, the rewards are actually points. They become much more valuable when you pair this card with a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card. This unlocks Chase’s transfer partners, letting you double or even triple their value.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card

BEST-EVER offer on the Capital One Venture X for 100,000 points when you spend $10,000 in six months. That spending requirement may feel like a lot, but six months is a long time! It breaks down to just $1,666 per month.

Capital One recently added family language to the Venture cards, meaning you aren’t eligible for “lower” cards if you’ve opened “higher” cards in the last 48 months. So basically, you now want to open them in order of smallest annual fee to largest annual fee.

So, if you don’t yet have the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, I’d get that first.

But, if you do have that, or don’t plan to get it any time soon, now’s the time to get the Venture X.

Check out my deep-dive article here.

You can compare the two cards in this article.

If you’re unfamiliar with Capital One Miles, you can check out this post, which goes over everything you need to know about these flexible miles.

Capital One Venture X Business

There is a business version of the Venture X that comes with a GIANT 200,000-point welcome offer! The spending requirement is huge as well; $30,000 in the first three months, so I realize this is not for everyone. It also currently has an additional offer for 200k miles when you spend $150k in the first 6 months.

However, if you can meet that initial $30k spend, it’s an excellent option! After the spending requirement, you’ll have 260,000 flexible miles to work with. Amazing!

It has all the same fees and benefits as the personal version of the card, but it won’t count toward your 5/24 number. It’s worth noting that starting in February 2026, lounge access will still include two guests, whereas the personal Venture X lounge access will no longer include guests.

American Express® Gold Card

We love an American Express Card because you can apply and see if you’re approved without your credit taking a hit! Once you see your offer, you can accept it, and it will fully pull your credit. It’s a risk-free application, which is great!

Right now, earn as high as 100,000 Membership Rewards® after you spend $6,000 in the first six months. This is a great offer for a very low spending requirement. Offers are targeted and may be different for different people. I always recommend trying different browsers or opening on both your phone and a computer to see which has the highest offer for you.

This is a great everyday card because it earns 4X on restaurants and supermarkets, so points can really add up quickly.

It’s a personal card and will count toward 5/24, but I think it’s worth a spot!

If you want to save a personal card spot, you can grab the American Express® Business Gold Card instead.
