Credit card welcome offers are the fastest way to earn a ton of points with relatively little spending. I never worry about running out of cards because there are always new offers to be found.
Here are the current best ones.
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (NEW OFFER!)

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is my number one go-to beginner card and my top recommendation for anyone who does not already have it. It currently earns 75,000 bonus points (up from 60,000!) when you spend $5,000 in your first 3 months from account opening.
Read more about the card and why I love it HERE.
Need some inspiration for using the points? Check out this blog post.

No-Fee Ink Business Cards
**DO NOT MISS THESE LIMITED-TIME OFFERS**
There are two brand new offers on Chase’s no-annual-fee business cards! Both the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card and the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card have elevated offers for $900 cash back when you spend $6,000 in the first three months.
Both of these cards are marketed as cash-back cards, but they actually earn Ultimate Rewards®. You will just need an additional card, like the Sapphire Preferred, to make the points transferable.
These two cards are one of my favorite ways to stock up on a mountain of Chase points! Furthermore, they don’t count against your 5/24 number since they are business cards. They’re no-brainers!
Learn more about both cards (and why you should absolutely have them!) here.

Trio of Fee-Free Capital One Cards
Capital One just boosted the welcome offers for three of its popular no-annual-fee cards. We rarely see elevated offers on these cards, so now is a great time to grab one of them! Let’s take a look at each.
- Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card: LIMITED-TIME OFFER- Earn $300 in travel bonuses. Enjoy $100 to use on Capital One Travel in your first cardholder year, plus earn 20,000 bonus miles once you spend $500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening – that’s equal to $300 in travel. This card earns an easy 2x on all purchases. It’s my top choice out of these three!
- Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card: LIMITED-TIME OFFER- Earn $300 in welcome bonuses. Enjoy a $100 credit to use towards flights, stays and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel during your first cardholder year. Plus, earn a $200 cash bonus once you spend $500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. This card is a good option for those who spend a lot of money on food and entertainment each month. It earns 3% back on dining, entertainment, and grocery stores.
- Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card: LIMITED-TIME OFFER- Earn $300 in welcome bonuses. Enjoy a $100 credit to use towards flights, stays and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel during your first cardholder year. Plus, earn a $200 cash bonus once you spend $500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. This is my least favorite of the three options because it earns 1.5% back on all purchases, but it’s a good choice if you’re brand new to opening cards and are looking to help boost your credit score and history.
Note – even though the second two cards earn cash back, this can be converted to Capital One Miles if you also have or will have a miles-earning card.
The New United℠ Business Card
United recently revamped its lineup of cards, and the business card has a huge welcome offer! Right now, earn 100,000 bonus miles and 2,000 PQP after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first three months your account is open.
The card comes with benefits like the first checked bag free, two United Club℠ one-time passes per year, and priority boarding privileges. It earns 2x miles on United purchases, dining, at gas stations, office supply stores, and on local transit and commuting.
If you love to fly United or are just looking for a new card with a great offer, this is a good one!

Southwest Rapid Rewards® Performance Business Credit Card
Want to get BOGO flights for up to two full years? This one card offer can help you do it! The Southwest Companion Pass lets you book one flight, then add a companion for free. All you have to do is pay the taxes, which are usually just $5.60!
The Southwest Performance Business Card has a brand new offer for a whopping 120,000 points when you spend $10,000 in the first three months from account opening. The required amount of points for a Companion Pass is 135,000, so this offer gets you nearly all the way there. The timing for opening this card is important. It’s a limited-time offer, so it’s important to time it correctly to earn the points for 2026-2027. My Southwest Companion Pass article goes over all of the details.
Chase Sapphire Reserve® and Sapphire Reserve for Business℠

The Sapphire Reserve has been completely revamped with a new welcome offer, new benefits, and a new (bigger) annual fee. The BEST-EVER welcome offer is for 125,000 points when you spend $6,000 in the first three months. This is an excellent offer that fully offsets the annual fee for the first year!
The Sapphire Reserve for Business is a brand-new card! It was launched during the Sapphire Reserve revamp and also includes a slew of benefits to go along with the larger annual fee. The welcome offer is for a whopping 200,000 points when you spend $30,000 in the first six months. This breaks down to just $5,000 per month, so if you can meet that spending requirement, this card is an excellent option!
As part of the revamp, Chase also reworked the eligibility requirements for the Sapphire suite of cards. You can read more about that and further details about the card offers and benefits in this post.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card
The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is an excellent card with premium benefits like a $300 travel credit, unlimited airport lounge access, a 10,000-mile anniversary bonus, no foreign fees, and more. The welcome offer is for 75,000 miles when you spend $4,000 in the first three months. This is a pretty standard amount for a rewards card and is actually low compared to other premium cards. There is a $395 annual fee, which is fully covered by all of the great benefits. You can read more about the card here.
If you’re unfamiliar with Capital One Miles, you can check out this post, which goes over everything you need to know about these flexible miles.
There is a business version of the Venture X that comes with a GIANT 200,000-point welcome offer! The spending requirement is huge as well; $30,000 in the first three months. However, if you can meet that, it’s an excellent option! After the spending requirement, you’ll have 260,000 flexible miles to work with. Amazing! It has all the same fees and benefits as the personal version of the card, but it won’t count toward your 5/24 number.
If you have some big expenses coming up (or just regularly have large expenses) and are looking for a different card with a huge welcome offer, check out these options.

Atmos Credit Cards
Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines recently merged, and as part of this merger, a new rewards program called Atmos™ Rewards has been introduced. Along with the new program are three new credit cards – two of which are rebranded versions of former cards, and another card that is brand-spanking-new.
Here are the details:
- Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Card – Earn 100,000 Atmos Rewards points plus a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $6,000 within the first 90 days of account opening. This is a brand-new premium travel card with extra perks like a 25,000-point Global Companion Award, eight Alaska lounge access awards, accelerated status earning, and benefits when making purchases outside of the U.S.
- Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® Card – Earn 80,000 Atmos Rewards points plus a $99 Companion Fare after spending $4,000 within the first 120 days. This mid-tier card is just a rebrand of the former Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® card, offering a Companion Fare benefit and solid everyday travel rewards.
- Atmos™ Rewards Visa® Business Card – a business version of the Ascent card. This is a good option that won’t count against your 5/24 status.
Find the link to all three cards here.
It’s worth noting that you’re not eligible for the Ascent or Business Card if you currently have or have had a previous Alaska Airlines version of the card.
Furthermore, Bank of America has a 2/3/4 rule, which states that you won’t be approved if you’ve opened two BoA cards in the last two months, three BoA cards in the last 12 months, or 4 BoA cards in the last 24 months.
Lastly, if you don’t have a BoA banking account, you likely won’t be approved if you’ve opened three or more cards from any bank in the last 12 months. The threshold increases to seven cards if you do have a BoA banking account.
Capital One Spark Cash Plus
The Capital One Spark Cash Plus has a huge spending requirement of $30,000 in the first three months of account opening. However, if you can meet that, you will earn the giant welcome offer of $2,000 cash back.
The card earns an easy 2X on all purchases, so after meeting the spending requirement and earning the welcome offer, you’ll have a whopping $2,600!! You can combine this cash back with a Capital One Miles-earning card to change into 260,000 flexible miles. Bananas.
