Current Best Offers

Credit card welcome offers are the fastest way to earn a ton of points with relatively little spending. I never worry about running out of cards because there are always new offers to be found.

Here are the current best ones.

Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (NEW OFFER!)

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is my number one go-to beginner card and my top recommendation for anyone who does not already have it. It currently earns 75,000 bonus points (up from 60,000!) when you spend $5,000 in your first 3 months from account opening.

Read more about the card and why I love it HERE.

Need some inspiration for using the points? Check out this blog post.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card

BEST-EVER offer on the Capital One Venture X for 100,000 points when you spend $10,000 in six months. That spending requirement may feel like a lot, but six months is a long time! It breaks down to just $1,666 per month.

Capital One recently added family language to the Venture cards, meaning you aren’t eligible for “lower” cards if you’ve opened “higher” cards in the last 48 months. So basically, you now want to open them in order of smallest annual fee to largest annual fee.

So, if you don’t yet have the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, I’d get that first.

But, if you do have that, or don’t plan to get it any time soon, now’s the time to get the Venture X.

Check out my deep-dive article here.

You can compare the two cards in this article.

If you’re unfamiliar with Capital One Miles, you can check out this post, which goes over everything you need to know about these flexible miles.

Capital One Venture X Business

There is a business version of the Venture X that comes with a GIANT 200,000-point welcome offer! The spending requirement is huge as well; $30,000 in the first three months, so I realize this is not for everyone. It also currently has an additional offer for 200k miles when you spend $150k in the first 6 months.

However, if you can meet that, it’s an excellent option! After the spending requirement, you’ll have 260,000 flexible miles to work with. Amazing!

It has all the same fees and benefits as the personal version of the card, but it won’t count toward your 5/24 number. It’s worth noting that starting in February 2026, lounge access will still include two guests, whereas the personal Venture X lounge access will no longer include guests.

American Express® Gold Card

We love an American Express Card because you can apply and see if you’re approved without your credit taking a hit! Once you see your offer, you can accept it, and it will fully pull your credit. It’s a risk-free application, which is great!

Right now, earn as high as 100,000 Membership Rewards® after you spend $6,000 in the first six months. This is a great offer for a very low spending requirement. Offers are targeted and may be different for different people. I always recommend trying different browsers or opening on both your phone and a computer to see which has the highest offer for you.

This is a great everyday card because it earns 4X on restaurants and supermarkets, so points can really add up quickly.

It’s a personal card and will count toward 5/24, but I think it’s worth a spot!

If you want to save a personal card spot, you can grab the American Express® Business Gold Card instead.

Citi Strata Elite℠ Card

Brand new offer on the Citi Strate Elite, Citi’s premium card that was just launched in July. The elevated offer is for 100,000 points when you spend $6,000 in the first three months. This is a high offer for a relatively low spending amount!

This is a premium card, so it does come with a premium price tag of $595. There are some decent benefits to offset it, like a $300 hotel credit through Citi Travel, a $200 splurge credit, Priority Pass lounge access, and four American Airlines Admirals Club® Lounge passes each year.

One of the most exciting things is that Citi recently added American Airlines as a transfer partner. Previously, American wasn’t a partner with any of the four major banks, so this is great news! Since Citi ThankYou® points can now be transferred to American, this card is a good way to earn a big stash of American miles!

Trio of Fee-Free Capital One Cards

Capital One just boosted the welcome offers for three of its popular no-annual-fee cards. We rarely see elevated offers on these cards, so now is a great time to grab one of them! Let’s take a look at each.

  • Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card: LIMITED-TIME OFFER- Earn $300 in travel bonuses. Enjoy $100 to use on Capital One Travel in your first cardholder year, plus earn 20,000 bonus miles once you spend $500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening – that’s equal to $300 in travel. This card earns an easy 2x on all purchases. It’s my top choice out of these three!
  • Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card: LIMITED-TIME OFFER- Earn $300 in welcome bonuses. Enjoy a $100 credit to use towards flights, stays and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel during your first cardholder year. Plus, earn a $200 cash bonus once you spend $500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. This card is a good option for those who spend a lot of money on food and entertainment each month. It earns 3% back on dining, entertainment, and grocery stores.
  • Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card: LIMITED-TIME OFFER- Earn $300 in welcome bonuses. Enjoy a $100 credit to use towards flights, stays and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel during your first cardholder year. Plus, earn a $200 cash bonus once you spend $500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening. This is my least favorite of the three options because it earns 1.5% back on all purchases, but it’s a good choice if you’re brand new to opening cards and are looking to help boost your credit score and history.

Note – even though the second two cards earn cash back, this can be converted to Capital One Miles if you also have or will have a miles-earning card.

Southwest Rapid Rewards Personal Cards

Want to get BOGO flights for up to two full years? These new offers can help you do it! The Southwest Companion Pass lets you book one flight, then add a companion for free. All you have to do is pay the taxes, which are usually just $5.60!

The three Southwest personal cards have new offers for 85,000 points when you spend $3,000 in the first three months from account opening. The required amount of points for a Companion Pass is 135,000, so this offer gets you a good chunk of the way there. The timing for opening Southwest cards is important if you want to earn the Companion Pass for 2026-2027. My Southwest Companion Pass article goes over all of the details for earning enough points to get the pass, plus answers common questions and has example strategies.
