My thoughts
This is for the die-hard Hilton fans. If you regularly stay at Hilton properties and want Diamond status, this is the card for you. The annual fee is high, but the credits and free night certificate go a long way toward offsetting it, especially when you open it with an elevated welcome offer.
How to use your points
Hilton Honors points from this card are best used for free nights at premium Hilton properties:
- Book luxury stays at Waldorf Astoria and Conrad properties
- Use annual free night certificates for a standard room at any Hilton property — learn all about Hilton free night certificates
This one is for the true Hilton loyalists.
- Automatic Diamond status is a big deal if you stay at Hilton properties regularly
- The $400 in annual Hilton credits plus annual free night certificate offset a lot of the fee
- The $550 annual fee is steep, but worth it if Hilton is your hotel of choice
- Note: this card is no longer available through our affiliate links
